36 Weeks, 2 Days

Everyone,

Still here. Still pregnant. Part of me is interested in how long I will sit at 5 cm. Part of me panics every time I think about it. It's about 11am, and no call from my doctors. With Butterfly's birth, I had the induction scheduled by now. Maybe it's because I am only 36 weeks. It's probably because it's a different office. Boy are they going to be surprised when I walk into their office tomorrow!

My new goal to get to is Wednesday. And if I pass that, then Saturday. I had no more contractions yesterday, and none today. So far. I will update if there is anything else happening today. (Although I'm hoping for a very boring day.)

  2. Boring is definitely better than the alternative but I can definitely see how it would be frustrating. :-) I wish there was something I could say about being 5 cm but I was 5 cm when I went to the hospital to be induced and then it took me about 12 hours to get to 10 cm - LOL. Oh well, given your labor with Butterfly I have a strong feeling your labor will be much different. Can't wait to hear more!

  3. This has to be torture for you. I'd be like 'enough already!' Somehow I don't think you'll make it to Saturday. Try to get some sleep in the meantime.

  4. Hang in there girly! You are such an amazing person. I don't know if I could do what you are doing, and doing well for that matter.

It's so hard at the end. I found it so all consuming ... it was all I could think about.

    Hang in there!

  11. Splats- Yes, I am actually sleeping quite well. I am tired by 8pm, and I actually go to bed when I am tired. I think I'm realizing that soon I will have no sleep so I better enjoy it while it lasts.

Brandy- I didn't know you were 5cm too! We should start a club or something. :)

Kelly- It is really frustrating, but I do want what's best for the boys.

Michelle- Oh I bet you could do this if you had to! :)

Karen- Thanks! Butterfly is cute, although I wish my hair wasn't so long...it seems all I can see in that picture. :) And yes, boys and chocolate...makes me sound like I am back in high school or something. ;)

Deanna- We've talked about it with Butterfly, but I don't think she quite gets that things are moving rapidly towards delivery. She understands the whole baby thing, but beyond that, I don't know.

MK- Yes, it is all consuming, isn't it?

Valinda- Nope, I added the picture later. I thought it was cute.

Laura- Don't stay up too late! I may have to call you one of these nights. :)

Jill- The picture was just for you. Check the other blog too. :)
