I am beat. This solo parenting thing is hard. Especially when I have to figure out what to do with Butterfly while I am putting the boys to bed. She either watches a movie or I'm yelling at her to stop jumping on the bed so these boys will stop laughing at her and eat. Of course, their laughing makes her jump more. They sure do love their big sister.

I think I must be tired. I'm rambling.

Things that got done today:

7 diapers changed
2 breakfasts, lunches, dinners
6 little boxes of Chinese food (yum!)
5 ponies colored
5 naps taken
1 living room vacuumed
1 bed made

Things that did not get done today:
1 sink full of dishes
80 pictures organized
1 kitchen table full of mail (sorry Juice)
1 bank trip

My list of things that got done is a lot bigger than my list that did not. A good but quiet day. Now I'm off to bed!

PS- Professor is army crawling! He's been moving around for weeks but today was the first time I saw deliberate forward movement. Butterfly crawled like: elbow, elbow, twinkle toes. Professor crawls: elbow, elbow, pop hip into air, drag other leg behind. It's very cute. I need to get a video of it. But my days of not shutting the gates are close to being over!

  1. I can't wait to see the crawling in action! That's exciting! I'm sorry you didn't get everything on your list done. If it makes you feel better, I didn't even make a list....How was your Chinese food?

  2. I can't believe they are that close to crawling. What out, the fun is about to begin!

  3. yay for army crawling! That's great!

  4. awwww...I love the army crawl stage!! can't wait to see it :)
you're doing great - there were tons of things on your done list. we love you :)
