Sunday Pictures, take 3

These pictures speak for themselves.
As you can see, we have good moments and bad moments with this cast so far. We're back to the orthopedic doctor tomorrow so he can check on the fit and make sure things are still how they should be.

  1. Oh my goodness - I just want to pick him up and give him kisses. His smile is awesome!

My cousin slipped on a book when she was about 2 and was in a similar cast - she healed fantasticly and is now 11 and is right as rain!

(Hope the good days start to outnumber the bad.)

  2. Anonymous8:43 AM

Poor Pirate! Maybe he'll develop super upper body strength from dragging the cast around? Then he will become a major league pitcher and will owe it all to the broken leg. I hope he heals quickly. (((Hugs)))

  3. Ouch! Poor thing :(

  4. I hope everything goes well at the doctor's. I'm sure he'll get used to it in a little while. Well, as used it to as you can be. Take care!

  5. Oh,that middle picture just breaks my heart.

  6. Poor little guy! I hope the month passes quickly.

Good luck at the orthopedic dr.

  7. I was wondering how the diaper fit in all of that... no fun!

  8. That second picture just makes me want to cry. But that third picture...WOW what a CUTIE!!!! Thanks for posting some pictures!

  9. Oh, that last comment was me- Anie! :)

  10. Poor Pirate! That middle picture just breaks my heart! I hope this month goes by fast! (((hugs)))

  11. Oh no! Poor thing -- diapering around that looks like it must have been a nightmare. It's wild how it goes all the way to the other leg. Was it a break high up on the thigh? The docs in Bethel said they would have preferred Iris's cast up higher, but they were worried about diaper accidents and pee getting on it and messing it up. Yeah, Iris's cast is out of this wierd fiberglass roll tape that they have to get wet first, and then as it dries it gets hard.

Thanks for checking in on us and commenting, and also for the support, because I'm sure you know how it feels to accidentally hurt your precious babe. It's awful, right? Take care! I'll check out the rest of your blog, now. :)
